A downloadable game for Windows

A very short 2-3 minute game where you walk inside the mind of someone that ruined their life for fame.

This project was made during the Fall and Winter of 2021 as a final for my Level Design class and the process for development due to having never used Unreal Engine before took about twelve weeks. Usually, I work with very goofy cartoony things, so I wanted to be able to show people what else I could make. Two of my main goals during my studies were:
1. Have it be a very simple idea due to being unfamiliar with the software and game design in general.
2. Try to use the least amount of assets possible without it looking super cheap and strange.

This will probably not be updated often or at all, but I'm keeping it as a prototype because I feel like adding onto it someday would be nice, and in the future, I'm sure I could implement the ideas in this much better.
I hope you enjoy!

I think you did a good job achieving your stated goals here. This didn't feel cheap or strange, and it told a minimalist story. Nicely done.

Thank you!! I watched your stream, it made me so happy. It was really fun watching your little commentary, you treated it with great respect.

Aww, thank you :) I really love indie games and the community, and it's always great to find new gems.

good story short

Thank you so much for the compliment and for playing my little game (it was super fun to watch)! I didn't expect anyone to actually play it, haha.

I saw you missed a line or two of dialogue, and I'm quite sure it was because you had the same issue as my fiancé while playtesting where when you see a bunch of the clearer spotlights at once you want to go to them right away instead of walking through the direction of where the text on your spotlight faces, leading some dialogue to be out of order. It was clarified in instructions on how you're supposed to be following the direction of the words but I will have to fix seeing the other spotlights at one point by putting up something so it hides most of them for the player. It's very easy to get lost in this, pfft.
